USC Falls
The curse of the number 1 ranking has struck again. This year, it is the University of Southern California Trojans that have fallen victim. The Trojans traveled North to face conference rival Oregon State Beavers last night and did not fair well. The Beavers seemed to have the number of the Trojans.
What was really amazing to me was the fact that the entire first half belonged to the Beavers offensively. They were able to rattle of 21 unanswered points before the Trojans even knew what hit them. The second half was truly a different story with the Trojans coming back to tie the game with 2:39 left on the clock. This proved to be too much time for the Beavers as they marched just 40 yards down the field to take the victory over the Trojans.

I came in on the game with 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, and watched it to the end.
I loved it!
The sports media had annointed the Trojans a spot in the BCS championship game, especially after they destroyed Ohio State. I don’t think so now.
I love it!
Paul, I would agree with ya. This weekend will tell if Georgia has a chance or not.
I really liked the performance of Jacquizz Rodgers, the freshman RB of Oregon State. The Beavers ran through USC’s defense like a hot knife through butter. The Trojans looked vulnerable and were taken by surprise. Great game. I love it, too.
The Beavers looked better than the Trojans expected I believe.
pretty funny to watch them underachieve one game almost every single year. they just dropped the ball completely.
That they did, I wonder if they will be given the opportunity to play for the national championship now?
