This off season has been a rocky one for the fans of the Atlanta Braves. First, there were talks of going fishing and catching the monster of the sea, Jake Peavy. After hearing this rumor for too long, it finally fizzled out when the San Diego Padres finally showed just how greedy they were. They wanted to rebuild their team by stripping the Braves farm system and taking some caliber MLB players.

It did not stop there though. The next rumor was that we would acquire the great hurler A.J. Burnett. In my book, he is not as good as Peavy, but still much better than what the Braves currently have sitting on their roster and in the minors. The Burnett issue finally deflated when he decide that he wanted to go play Alphabet Soup with CC in New York.

Then, just to add insult to injury, they announced that Rafael Furcal is coming back to the Braves. All is finally sunny in a city that never sleeps. However, before the ink had ever dried, we are now hearing that Furcal is going back to the Dodgers. I just cannot figure out what they have that we do not.

If I was a sensitive guy, I might have a complex getting dropped at the altar so much.
