Now there is a question that has been on fans of the fans of the Atlanta Braves. After losing out on their quest for a major league starting pitching ace, the Braves were hoping to have the likes of john Smoltz back. However, in a twist of events, that now looks like it will not be happening either. It appears that Smoltz will find new life in Boston for the Red Sox.

Now that the Braves have lost out on AJ Burnett and pretty much have lost on Jake Peavy, they are now turning their attention to Derek Lowe. Incidentally, he was not even on the radar until recently. Personally, I think they should go to Japan and get the kid pitching in the industrial league.
