The Atlanta Braves have introduced Derek Lowe as their new pitching ace. More than liking, this means that he will be the first to take the mound in 2009 for the retooled pitching staff of the Atlanta Braves. He will more than likely be followed by Javier Vazquez, then Jair Jurrjens, and Kenshin Kawakami would be next. After that, who knows, but that is what Spring Training is for.

For those that do not know, Lowe is from the Dodgers, Vazquez is from the Chicago White Sox, and Kawakami came to the Braves from Japan. He might just well be the link to the Braves puzzle this year. No one really knows how good this guy is and he could very well rock the major league batters and keep them baffled all year.
