Will more College Head Coaches Go?
Already this year we have seen one head coach get the boot. It brings out the discussion of more firings. I have been
talking about this since Phillip Fulmer’s Tennessee Volunteers dropped their first game of the season. I brought it up again when Bobby Bowden’s Florida State Seminole’s lost to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Then there is the question of Ole Miss’ head coach Houston Nut. He wins the big game and loses the ones that he should win.
I have to ask the question of when is enough enough for a college football program. Basically at the half way point, have you conceded your season. Or do you see what bowl is offered? When do you start asking for their head? When is it time to place the “For Sale” sign in front of their house? Inquiring minds want to know what you think.
